- Radicada en Bariloche desde 1971. En México (1980-84), comenzó a estudiar pintura. En Bariloche continuó tomando cursos y expuso por primera vez su trabajo en el Centro del Cerro Catedral (2000). Realizó cursos de fotografía en blanco y negro, y color. Expuso en el Restaurante Chilco (Bariloche) fotos de la India (1999). Comenzó su serie de acuarelas (2000). Ha presentado su obra en la muestra conjunta de acuarelas en el Salón Cultural de Usos Múltiples (2003), en Galería Premier (2003)(individual), y en el Museo de La Patagonia – Sala Chonek (2004). Su última obra ‘Encantamientos’ en arte digital, es la conjunción de acuarela con fotografía (Marzo & abril, Restaurante Naan; Julio, ‘Plaza Patagonia’, Restaurante ‘Santos’; Agosto Centro de Encuentros Culturales; Septiembre-Noviembre Hotel Design Bariloche; 13-23 Noviembre 2008, Sala Frey).

Barbara was born in Italy in 1946. Her parents are Polish. She has lived in Bariloche, Patagonia, Argentina, since 1971.
She has been an enthusiastic black and white photographer. Her main inspiration has been the landscapes in Chiloe Island, Chile and the Patagonian forest and steppe. These photos and the ones taken during a trip to India were shown in 1998 in the Civic Center, Bariloche.
During her stay in Mexico from 1979 to 1984, she started to study oil and acrylic painting.
When she returned to Patagonia, she continued taking courses. She presented a set of paintings in 2000, at the Ski Center in Cerro Catedral, Bariloche.
In 2000, she started with her watercolor period. The themes in this work were ‘dreams’. This work was presented in the Cultural Center (2003), Premier Gallery (2003), and the Patagonian Museum (2004), Bariloche.
In December 2007, she started with the current work called ‘Enchantments’. It is digital art in which a watercolor gets united with a photograph.
Fourteen ‘Enchantments’ were shown in the Restaurant ‘Naan’ in March and April. More ‘Enchantments’ were shown in Plaza Patagonia in July, Design Suites Hotel in September, October and November, and Sala Frey, Civic Center, November 13-23, 2008.

Barbara s'établie à Bariloche depuis 1971. Mais c’est au Mexique (1980-84) qu’elle commence ses études de peinture. Elle continue à se perfectionner lors de sa rentrée à Bariloche.
Elle s’intéresse aussi à la photographie pour aboutir dans l’art numérique, mélangeant ainsi photos et aquarelles.

About me
My parents are Polish. I was born in Italy and I have lived in Patagonia since 1971, but I’m a citizen of the world.
For 37 years, I’ve been married to Eddy, scientist and sculptor. Between us, we have six children, fourteen grand-children and six great grand-children.
I love life, nature, the infinite skies, the rain, the Patagonian aromas. I love the moments of silence and the joy of being alive.
A piece of myself is captured by the watercolor. It’s just a moment: a few colors, the water that flows and the images that are created. My feelings get expressed.
The photograph and the watercolor are two instants that blend into one.
And now, I’m sharing this moment with you.
